First Aid
First aid is the initial treatment of an ill or injured person. Learn to evaluate the injured or ill person and then to intervene using a limited amount of supplies.
CPR for Adults/Children/Infants
This CPR and AED course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult/child/infant victims. Students will also learn to recognize the warning signs of a heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children.
Who Should Attend
This class is a lay person course for First Aid and CPR and AED and is intended for non-health care professional students such as: daycare providers, security guards, babysitters, fitness professionals, massage therapists, coaches, family members of loved ones who are at risk for sudden cardiac emergencies, and other members of the public who wish to be prepared for a first aid illness or injury and are looking for a general certification.
